Youth Deal Cooperative, in collaboration with the International Labour Organization, published its report titled “Youth employment in Turkey: Structural challenges and the impact of the pandemic on host communities and Syrian refugees” on June 27, 2022.

The report, based on a national survey of 1800 samples, (1) shows the socio-economic profile of youth in Turkey, (2) reflects the impacts of the pandemic and the needs and expectations of the youth regarding the labour market, (3) presents the perceptions and experiences of the youth regarding public employment services, and (4) conveys the youth’s perceptions of female employment and their plans to stay in Turkey in the short and long term.
